Upon turning the sauce pan over we discovered a sharply etched emblem on the bottom of the pan. We have used a few of the opposite saucepans and some of the frying pans with out incident, however there isn't any doubt that the three qt sautee pan did depart a deep scratch on our ceramic stovetop.
