You can't actually fry an egg on it with out oil, however it's more non-stick and easier to clear than hard anodized surfaces like Calphalon. I've now switched to Starfrit when boiling bones for inventory because the froth go aways a hoop on my stainless pots that is not possible to take away. I even deep fry within the sauce pot as a end result of oil splatter comes proper off. It's good that the coating lengthens to the skin (but now not bottom) of each pan or pot.
Build high quality is appropriate however now not great--comparable to entry degree non-stick providings. The glass lids even seem like they came from the identical factory. Both the pan and lid handles are hooked up via Philips head screws which came bathroom loose after the primary week's use. :(
